In order to broaden the employment channels for college graduates, we actively promoted the special action of Secretary and President Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Posts, and improved the cooperation and exchange platform between JMI and enterprises. On the morning of December 7, Wan Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of JMI, led a team to pay a special visit to two IT enterprises. Relevant personnel from the Students’ Affairs Office and the School of Information Engineering accompanied the investigation.
Zong Yan, Chairman of Bestlink Technology Co., Ltd., and Guo Hong, General Manager of East and Central China of Beijing Chaitin Technology Co., Ltd. warmly welcomed Wan Jian and his delegation. The leaders of the two companies introduced the development status, business fields and talent demand of their companies respectively, and expressed the hope that in the future, they can carry out multi-dimensional and multi-form in-depth cooperation with JMI in talent training, industry-college cooperation and other aspects.
During the survey, Wan Jian introduced the establishment history, development profile, college-running characteristics, etc. of JMI, and emphatically introduced the major construction and development of the Information Engineering School of JMI. He pointed out that the employment needs and development directions of the two enterprises are highly consistent with the development directions of Mobile Communications, Information Security, Software Technology and other majors of the School of Information Technology of our college. He hoped to further promote the deep integration of college-enterprise joint education. The enterprises will help JMI improve teaching and talent training quality with its technological advantages and in return JMI will provide high-quality qualified talents for the enterprises to achieve win-win development. President Wan Jian also had an in-depth conversation with the alumni to get to know their work and development status, and encouraged them to fulfil their duties, be down-to-earth and contribute to the development of the company.
Through this visit, JMI and the two enterprises signed employment base agreements respectively, and a closer college-enterprise cooperation will continue to enable the development of both our college and enterprises. JMI will continue to take the strategy of “going out” and “inviting in” to visit enterprises and expand their posts, so as to help graduates obtain more full and high-quality employment.
